Supermove offers two different ways to dispatch your crews and trucks. You can either dispatch directly from the Project you’re working on or through the main Dispatch Tab.
Let’s break down the differences between these two methods below.
Project-level Dispatching
From the Project Page, head to the Dispatch Tab. Here, you can assign key job resources, including:
Branch – Select the appropriate branch (applicable for multi-branch companies).
Crew Members – Assign movers or drivers responsible for completing the job.
Truck – Choose the vehicle that will be used for the move.
This method is ideal for dispatching individual jobs directly while reviewing project-specific details.
Dispatch Tab
The Dispatch Tool helps you efficiently manage logistics and moving operations by streamlining how you assign trucks and crew members. It ensures every job is properly staffed and executed on schedule.
Steps to Dispatch Your Crew and Trucks
Follow the steps below to assign trucks and crew members using the Dispatch Tool.
Click on the Dispatch tab from the left-side control panel [Truck Icon].
You’ll see Truck Slots on the left and the day’s job list on the right.
Jobs that still need to be dispatched will appear in the Unassigned tab.
Click the blue Assign button on the job card of an unassigned job.
Select the truck(s) you want to assign to the job. You can choose more than one truck if needed.
Click the job card to edit truck assignments or assign a crew. A job details window will appear, and then click the blue pencil icon to make edits.
The dispatch is complete when the job card displays a green check mark in the bottom right corner.
By following these steps, you can efficiently assign trucks and crews to jobs, ensuring all tasks are properly dispatched and tracked in Supermove.
