Managing Multiple Clients on a Project
Overview
Supermove now supports adding multiple clients to a project, allowing you to keep track of all parties involved in a move. This can include additional customer contacts, third-party services like installers, or van line agents for interstate moves.
Managing Client Roles
Navigate to Settings → Clients → Client Roles to manage and customize the roles that appear on the project page in Supermove.
Here, you can:
Add, edit, or delete client roles
Specify which project types a client role applies to
When editing a client role, you can adjust the role name and select the project types where this role will be visible. While a client role can always be added manually to any project type, it will appear by default on the selected project types.
Viewing Clients on a Project
On the Project Page, the Clients block displays all clients associated with the project. By default, this includes the Customer role.
If a client role is assigned to the project type, it will appear automatically. Staff members can click Assign Client to either select an existing client or create a new one.
Assigning a Client
Staff can assign a client in two ways:
1. Create a New Client: Enter the client details into the input fields to create a new client record
2. Select an Existing Client: Choose a client from the dropdown to attach the project to an existing client. This is useful for repeat customers or recurring commercial projects
Changing the Client
After a client is assigned, you can transfer the project to a different client to properly group past projects together.
Click Change Client, then search for the desired client to link the project.
Adding Clients During Project Creation
When creating a new project, a Add Client option will appear if multiple client roles are enabled for your company.
This allows staff to add client details while creating the project. Client information can still be edited or changed after the project is created.
