The duplicate project feature in Supermove has been enhanced with new options. In addition to duplicating project details, you can now copy surveys, jobs, movers, trucks, and billing information. This functionality streamlines the process of creating new projects based on existing ones, reducing the need to manually input the same details.

Duplicate a Project

The duplicate project action now allows you to copy more than just the project details. You can select from a variety of options to duplicate, providing greater flexibility and efficiency.

New Duplicate Options

1. Survey: Copy the survey information for the new project.

2. Jobs: Duplicate the jobs from the original project.

3. Assigned Movers: Copy the assigned movers for the new project.

4. Assigned Trucks: Duplicate the assigned trucks for the new project.

5. Billing: Duplicate billing information, but this option is only available if jobs are also being duplicated. This ensures that billing is linked to the specific job.

Note: Office notes, dispatch notes, and crew notes will be cleared when jobs are copied to the new project. Make sure to manually transfer any important notes before duplicating jobs.

Reset Client

Previously, duplicating a project would carry over the client information from the original project to the duplicate, meaning that any changes made would affect all projects linked to the same client. With the new update, you now have the option to reset the client information for the duplicate project.

How to Reset Client

1. After duplicating the project, a pop-up window will appear.

2. You can choose to either:

   • Retain Client Information: This will keep the client details from the original project.

   • Reset Client: This option allows you to start fresh with new client details for the duplicate project.

These updates give you greater control over project duplication, ensuring that you don’t unintentionally modify existing client data while creating new projects with similar details.
