Overview
For salespeople, your job in Supermove after capturing a lead is to:
Run a Survey – gather the customer’s inventory and details...
Send a Quote (if your company uses them) – share an estimate of services.
Secure a Confirmation (Proposal) – finalize the booking and lock in the move.
Surveys: Gathering Details That Matter
Surveys are how you collect the critical details that shape the move and pricing. After capturing a lead, the next step is gathering details for a quote. Supermove offers flexible survey methods so you can meet customers where they are:
Virtual Walkthrough – Customer completes a guided video survey.
In-Home Survey – Survey conducted in person.
Phone or Online Survey – Collect information directly with the customer.
Choose the survey method that fits your customer’s preference. Each method captures the same key details — item list, volume/weight, and notes — which flow directly into your quote.
Conducting a Virtual Walkthrough
If your customer prefers, send them a Virtual Walkthrough link:
From the Surveys drop-down, select Virtual Walkthrough → Send Walkthrough Link.
Customer receives an SMS link → they record videos, room by room.
You receive the submissions → add items in the Survey Tool.
Save changes → inventory flows into the project.

Categorize items by room or lot/color.
Add customizable item tags like “High Value” or “Packed By Owner.”
Document exceptions per item to prevent potential claims.
Review the full inventory on the tablet or in the Office App to ensure accuracy.

Quotes: Turning Surveys into Proposals
Once survey details are in place, you may create a Quote to provide the customer with a professional cost estimate.
A Quote in Supermove:
Is auto-filled from survey data.
Can be customized with pricing, weight adjustments, or extra services.
Uses your company’s branded templates.
Can be emailed directly to the customer and tracked (viewed, accepted, or pending).
Speed matters: the faster you send a polished, accurate quote, the more likely you’ll secure the booking before competitors.

Confirmations: Securing the Booking
Whether you send a Quote first or skip it, the Confirmation Letter is what makes the booking official.
A Confirmation in Supermove:
Updates the project’s status to Booked.
Confirms agreed-upon services, pricing, and schedule.
Includes terms, policies, and instructions.
📌 Quote vs Confirmation (Sales-Friendly Summary):
Quote = Estimate → non-binding, cost projection.
Confirmation = Agreement → binding document that books the move.
