A salesperson’s role relies heavily on knowing what availability and capacity the company has each day to avoid overbooking or underbooking. Understanding how to send quotes, book moves, view crew schedules, and dispatch jobs is key to keeping operations running smoothly.
Quotes and Confirmations
A quote, like the name implies, is an estimate of what the job may cost.
A confirmation contains the same details as a quote but also typically includes more comprehensive terms and conditions, along with any required documents or steps that must be completed for the move to be officially booked and added to the Moves calendar.

Booking Moves
When a new project is created — whether manually or imported from a third-party lead provider — the first step is to send the customer a Quote.
Once the customer accepts the Quote, you’ll receive an in-app notification in Supermove confirming the approval. From there, you can move forward with the confirmation process.
The Confirmation Process
During this stage, key booking details are finalized. This typically includes:
Sending a confirmation letter to the customer
Collecting a deposit (if required)
Outlining your cancellation policy
Booking the Move
After completing the confirmation process, the Project status will update to Booked, and the move will appear on your Moves Calendar.
If your company uses the Google Calendar (GCal) integration, the booking will automatically sync and display on your connected calendar as well.
Scheduling & Dispatching
Once the project is booked, the next step is to determine which crew and trucks will be assigned to the job.
You can dispatch a job from two locations within Supermove:
Main Dispatch Calendar — Found in the main menu, this view allows you to schedule and assign crews across multiple jobs at once.
Dispatch Tab — Located within each individual project, this tab lets you manage dispatching for a single move in detail.
From either location, you can:
Assign crew members to the job
Assign trucks or equipment
Adjust start times or job durations as needed
Once dispatched, the assigned crew will see the job appear in their Crew App for that scheduled day.

Reviewing the Capacity Calendar
Before finalizing a booking, it’s recommended to review your Capacity Calendar. This view provides a clear overview of your team’s availability and helps ensure that moves are scheduled efficiently.
The Capacity Calendar displays a custom availability metric that reflects how much work your team can handle on any given day. These metrics are dynamic and adjust based on your company’s scheduling preferences — whether that’s by crew count, truck capacity, hours booked, or other operational limits.
By reviewing this calendar before confirming a move, your team can avoid overbooking and ensure proper resource allocation for every job.
