Cost & Compensation Report
The Cost & Comp Report provides a comprehensive view of project revenue, labor costs, and profitability across your organization. It tracks configured labor costs and other tracked costs at the project level, breaks down compensation by employee, and surfaces gaps in your cost and compensation setup so you can ensure complete coverage across billing libraries.
Use this report to monitor gross margins, identify high- and low-profitability projects, understand employee compensation distribution, and diagnose missing cost item configurations.
Use This Report to Answer Questions Like:
- What is our gross margin across projects this month?
- Which branches are the most and least profitable?
- How much are we paying each employee across their assigned projects?
- Are all of our billing libraries fully configured with cost and compensation items?
- Which projects have high revenue but low margin?
- What are the line-item cost breakdowns for a specific project or job?
