This glossary breaks down common terms you’ll encounter across the Supermove platform. Whether you're new to the system or need a quick refresher, use this as your go-to reference guide.
Core Concepts
Project
A customer’s overall move. A project may span multiple days but includes one invoice and one booking process.
Job
A scheduled service within a project—such as Pack Day or Move Day. Each job can contribute separately to the project’s final invoice.
Lead
The initial status of a new project before it's confirmed.
Hold
The project status once a quote has been sent but is still pending confirmation.
Booked
The confirmed status after the customer accepts or skips the quote—your job is officially scheduled.
Project Number
A unique ID automatically generated by Supermove to identify each project.
Tags
Labels used to categorize or filter jobs. Includes both system-generated and custom tags.
Saved Locations
A collection of addresses (origin and destination) used across all jobs within a project.
Stops
Individual addresses linked to a specific job.
Training Project
An internal test job used for practice or training. It doesn't affect reports or billing.
Sends the initial estimate to the customer as an “Online Quote.”
Send Confirmation
Sends booking details, confirmation steps, and any additional documents (e.g., deposit requests).
Confirmation Email
Automated message sent after a job is booked.
Proposals
Located in the Sales tab; manages both quotes and confirmations.
Email Template
Pre-written emails used to streamline communication.
SMS Template
Ready-to-send text messages for quick customer outreach.
Customer Notifications
Automated messages triggered by job status changes.
Quote View Link
A public-facing secure link where customers can review and accept their quote.
Customer View
What customers see when interacting with quotes or confirmation forms.
Follow-Up Reminder
Notification set to re-engage leads who haven’t booked yet.
Billing & Finance
Charges
Individual line items billed to a job (e.g., labor, travel, supplies).
Manual Charge
A one-off charge added manually, outside of your pricing template.
Bill Item
A reusable pricing element from the Billing Library.
Billing Table
A CSV file that sets pricing rules or tariffs.
Formula
Logic used to automatically calculate pricing based on job details.
Billing Values / Variables
Fields that auto-fill based on specific job or customer information.
Invoice
The final billing document sent after a job is completed.
Invoice Export
A downloadable file format for invoices—ideal for importing into accounting software.
Payment Status
Indicates if a job is paid, unpaid, or partially paid.
Deposit Request
A payment request made before a job is booked to reserve the date.
Supermove Payments
Supermove’s built-in credit card processing tool, powered by Payengine.
Payment Processor
The provider behind Supermove Payments (e.g., Payengine or Evalon).
Merchant
The moving company using Supermove Payments.
Scheduling & Dispatch
Dispatch Tab
Tool for assigning crews and trucks to specific jobs.
Capacity Calendar
Displays crew availability and scheduled jobs in a calendar view.
Assigned Crew
Team members assigned to complete a job.
Assigned Truck
Vehicle assigned to the job.
Job Status
Reflects a job’s current phase: Booked, In Progress, Complete, etc.
Reschedule Tool
Let's you move a job to another date or time.
Availability Grid
Visual calendar showing available time slots by team.
Day/Week View
Calendar filter to see jobs scheduled for the day or week.
Weather Visibility
Forecast insights to help you plan for weather-related disruptions.
Surveys & Estimates
Survey Tool / Estimator App
Mobile tool for capturing estimates, including notes, photos, and inventory.
Virtual Walkthrough
Customer-provided video or photo walkthrough submitted for estimating purposes.
Move Estimate/Quote
Projected costs based on services, duration, and materials required.
Move Request Form
Online form customers use to request quotes. Submissions flow directly into Supermove.
Crew Experience
Crew App
Supermove’s Android-based app for field crews.
Web-Based Crew App
iPad-friendly/Non-andriod version of the app (available at crew.supermove.co.)
Mover App
Web version of the crew schedule and job dashboard. (available at mover.supermove.co).
Clock In / Out
Time tracking feature used to log work hours for each job.
Breaks
Records any rest periods during the job.
Job Checklist
In-app tasks that must be completed by movers, like photo uploads and note taking.
Signature Capture
Final customer sign-off captured digitally at job completion.
Photos & Notes
On-site documentation submitted during the job.
Job Timesheet
Total time logged by crew members on a specific job.
Crew Hours
Time worked by crew, whether or not it's billed to the customer.
Route Start Confirmation
The button pressed when the crew is on the way to the origin location.
Job Completion
Final step in the Crew App to close out the job and sync with the office.
System & Technical
Automation
Triggers and workflows that reduce manual tasks across your process.
Variable
Placeholder that pulls in specific data like names, dates, or job details into templates.
Job Statuses
Full list includes: Dispatch Not Done, Dispatch Done, In Progress, Report Not Final, Report Final, Cancelled.

Escalation / CR
A request tied to a bug or configuration issue needing internal review.
Bug
A software error causing Supermove to behave in an unintended way.
