Revenue By Referral Source Report

The Revenue by Referral Source Report provides insights into how different referral sources contribute to project bookings and revenue. It breaks down total revenue, the number of projects, and average revenue per project by referral source. This report also includes a visual revenue trend chart and a detailed project list.

This report helps answer questions like:

Which referral sources generate the most revenue?
How many projects came from each lead source?
What is the average revenue per client by referral channel?

Report Inputs (Filters at the Top)

The filters at the top allow you to customize the data displayed:

Input	Description
Date Type	Lets you choose whether to filter by a project's start, end, booking or creation date.
Project Date	Defines the timeframe for included projects (e.g., Last 3 months or a custom date range) based on the above date type.
Branch	Filters projects by your organization's branches. Leaving this blank includes all branches.
Project Types	Limits results to selected project types (e.g., Local Move, Storage).
Project Status	Allows selection of one or more statuses (e.g., Lead, Booked, Completed).
Project Tags	Filters projects by custom tags that categorize them further.
Salesperson	Filters results by the salesperson assigned to the project.
Coordinator	Filters by the coordinator managing the project.
Project Visibility	Controls which projects are included (e.g., Active Projects only).
Referral Sources	Filters projects by the referral source (e.g., Google, LeadsPedia, Custom Website).

How Filters Affect the Data

Changing Date Type and Date Range updates which projects are counted (based on the date type and date range).
Adjusting Project Status, Branch, Referral Sources, or Salesperson filters refines the data further.
The table, chart, and project list always stay in sync with the selected filters.

Report Sections

1 - Revenue by Referral Source Table

Summarizes total revenue and project count by each referral source.

Column	Description
Referral Source	How the client heard about the company (e.g., Google, Custom Website).
Total Revenue $	Total booked revenue for all projects from that referral source.
# of Projects	The number of projects tied to that referral source.
Avg Revenue $	The average revenue per project for that referral source.

2 - Project Total Revenue Chart

A bar chart visualizing total revenue over time (daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly), broken down by referral source.

Below are additional filters specific to Total Revenue Chart:

Display Value – Allows toggling the value displayed (e.g., Total Revenue).
Date Range – Controls the chart grouping (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly).

3 - Projects Table (Detailed View)

Shows a list of all projects that match the filter criteria. Note: fields can be added or hidden to the table by clicking the gear icon and toggling fields on and off.

Column	Description
Client	The client name (clickable link).
Project	The project ID (clickable link).
Created At	When the project record was created.
Booked At	When the project was officially booked.
Start Date / End Date	Scheduled start and end dates of the project.
Revenue	Booked revenue for that project.
Project Type	The type of project (e.g., Local Move, Labor Only).
Project Status	The current status of the project (e.g., Lead, Booked, Completed).
Branch	The branch handling the project.
Salesperson	The salesperson assigned to this client.
Coordinator	The coordinator managing the client.
Referral Source	How the client heard about the company (e.g., LeadsPedia Lead, Website).
Referral Details	A deeper dive into the details of the referral.
Project Tags	A running list of project tags that are associated with the project in Supermove.

4 - Export Options

Summary Table Download – Exports the referral source summary table.
Detailed Projects Download – Exports the full project list as a CSV.
