Overview
Tired of creating the same task or sending the same email manually every time? Automations can help! This guide walks you through how to automatically create tasks and send emails when specific events happen in Supermove.

Create a Task Template
- Navigate to Settings > Tasks
- Click Create Task Template
- Fill in:
- Task Name (Required)
- Template Name (Required)
- Due In, Assignee, and Details (Optional)
- Click Save
Create an Email Template
- Navigate to Settings > Email
- Click Create Email Template
- Choose Custom Email Template as the template kind
- Add:
- Recipients
- Subject Line
- Email Body
- Click Save
Create an Automation Using Your Templates
1. Navigate to Settings > Automations
2. Click Create Automation
3. Enter a name for your automation and click Save
You will be navigated to the automation builder page
4. Select the event that will trigger the automation (e.g., Project > New Project Created)
5. Choose which Project Types this should apply to
6. Click Done
7. Click +, then select Create Task
8. Choose the Task Template you created
9. Click Done
Additional Steps Optional
10.Click +, then select Send Email
11. Choose the Email Template you created
12. Click Done
13. Click on Save automation
14. Toggle the automation to Active
That’s it! Your automation is now live. Whenever the trigger event occurs (e.g., a new project is created), Supermove will automatically create the task(s) and send the email(s) you configured.
