While your crews will be able to self-report the hours worked on the Supermove Crew App timesheet, we can also provide you with visibility on what the app believes to be the hours worked based on the GPS signals retrieved from the tablet over the course of the job. This is our Supermove Timesheet feature.
Upon completion of a job through the Supermove Crew App, the job page on the Office App will appear like this:
Work Timesheet: this bar reflects the events and hours worked that the crew themselves indicated on the Crew App. For an hourly-rate move, these are the billable hours that will get charged to the customer.
Supermove Timesheet: while not an exact science, this bar reflects the events and hours worked that the app itself believes occurred based on the tablet's GPS signals
By comparing the Work Timesheet with the Supermove Timesheet, you can audit and make sure that the crews are not under- or over-reporting their hours on a job.
Logic Behind Supermove Timesheet
To determine what event occurs during a job and when, the Supermove Timesheet uses the following logic based on GPS signals:
Drive Time: If the tablet is not within ~0.5 mile of the customer's location and the tablet's internal accelerometer senses it is moving, the app will catalogue this time as Drive Time.
Work Time: If the tablet is within ~0.5 mile of the customer's location and the tablet itself is static (e.g. not physically moving), then the app will catalogue this time as Work Time.
Break Time: If the tablet senses it is not in proximity of the customer's location and it is not moving, then the app will assume that the crews are away and on Break Time.
Based on this logic, it is important to stress that the Supermove Timesheet is not a fully exact breakdown of what truly happened over the course of a job -- it is an approximation calculated from the logic listed above.
Troubleshooting and Other Tips
To help further navigate and audit a job using the Supermove Timesheet, here are a few comments to keep in mind:
Accessing a full breakdown of all the GPS pings from a job via Audit Timesheet
To access all the GPS pings retrieved from a job, you can navigate in Office App to Actions >> Audit Timesheet. You will then be taken to a screen that logs all the events and GPS pings that were sent from the tablet, as seen here:
Ensure that the tablet allows the Crew App to Track Location "All the Time"
To have the tablet reliably send a GPS signal throughout the job, please make sure that you allow the tablets to Track Location "All the Time." This will ensure that the tablet will send a GPS signal even if the crew is not actively using the app or if the app goes to sleep during the move.
