Introduction:

The Supermove Claims module is a powerful tool that allows you to efficiently track and record claims for your projects. This article will guide you through the process of setting up and managing claims in Supermove, making it easier for you to keep track of project-related claims.

Setting up and actioning claims

Accessing the Claims Module

To access the Supermove Claims module, click on the gear icon and go to Company Settings. From there, navigate to Claims.

Setting Up Claim Types and Statuses

Define different claim types and statuses that you want to use in Supermove. You can customize claim types and statuses, including renaming, adjusting colors, or setting a default status.

Logging and Monitoring Claims

Access the Claims tab on the left-hand side to log and monitor claims. Initially, you will see a count of zero for each status, as no claims have been recorded. As you record claims, the count will update based on the claim's status.

Filtering and Sorting Claims

You can filter claims by project type, claim type, or project status for easy organization. Utilize tags associated with projects to further refine your claim searches.

Creating a Claim

Inside a project, navigate to the Claims section. Select the claim type based on your predefined settings. Enter the dollar amount (for internal record-keeping purposes), add notes, and attach any relevant documents. Save the claim to record it within the project.

Managing Claims within a Project

View and edit claims associated with a project. You can update the claim status, add attachments, or make notes for internal tracking. Changes to claims are tracked in the timeline and event log.

Viewing and Editing Claims in the Claims Tab

Go to the Claims tab to view all open claims. Edit individual or bulk claim statuses by selecting them and clicking the blue Edit Claim Status button in the top right corner. Deleted claims will be removed from the list.

Communicating with Customers

Use the module to communicate directly with customers regarding claims. Continue working on a claim until it's closed out for any reason.
