Overview:
The Google Calendar integration makes it easy to sync your Moves and Surveys calendars from Supermove into Google Calendar. This is an outbound calendar sync - once connected, you’ll be able to view your company’s full calendar outside of the Supermove Office App, share calendars with others, and access events on the go.
Since Google Calendar can also sync with other platforms (like Microsoft Outlook), this integration provides flexibility for teams that use different tools.
Prerequisites:
Before setting up the integration, ensure that Your Company's Google Account is connected to your company's Supermove account. Please see Connect Company Account (Two-Way Email) for step-by-step directions on how to proceed.
Common Troubleshoot Tips:
- Projects and jobs must have both a date and an arrival time for the event to populate in Google.
- Synching between platforms takes time, please give 30 seconds - 1 minute for the event to sync over.
How to Enable the Integration:
In Supermove, go to Settings > Communication > Calendar Integrations.
Click + Create Integration.
Select the Company Account you want to sync under.
Choose the Calendar where events will be synced.
Select the Project Statuses you’d like to include.
Choose the Job Categories you want synced.
(Optional) Decide whether specific staff should be notified when new events they are responsible for are created.
Customizing the event name and event details:
You can tailor how synced events appear in your calendar by leveraging the available variables and the text editor. The event name and details can be edited after saving the integrations.
By default, event names and details use Supermove’s standard formatting.
Use the text editor to update the event name and description.
Insert variables from the variable selector to automatically include project-specific details (e.g., client name, move date, or project type).
This customization helps make your calendar entries more descriptive and aligned with your workflow.
