Estimated vs Actual Hours Report
The Estimated vs Actual Hours Report provides a breakdown of estimated job hours versus the actual hours logged by crews across completed projects. This report is a key resource for analyzing labor accuracy, operational efficiency, and job planning effectiveness across teams, branches, or job types.
Use This Report to Answer Questions Like:
Are crews consistently finishing within their estimated time?
Which branches or team members have the most variance between expected and actual hours?
How many labor hours were logged this quarter?
Are time estimates realistic for certain project types?
Report Inputs (Filters at the Top)
Use the filters at the top of the report to adjust the view and focus:

| Date Range | Defines the time period (e.g., Quarter to Date or a custom range like 7/01/2025–7/31/2025). |
| Date Window | Choose how data is grouped: Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly. |
| Branch | Filters results by branch. Leave blank to include all branches. |
| Project Type / Project Tag | Filters by job classification and custom labels. |
| Salesperson | Filters by the sales rep responsible for the job. |
| Crew Lead / Movers | Filters based on who was assigned to perform the work. |
Changing the Date Range or Crew Lead instantly updates all sections of the report.
The % Actual Hours chart will populate when both estimated and actual data are present.
Filters allow managers to isolate trends by team, branch, project type, or individual.
Report Sections
1 - % Actual Hours (Chart)
This section would typically show a visual representation of how actual hours compare to estimates over time. However, in the current view, no data is shown, which could mean:
No jobs during the date range had estimated hours entered
Or all values for estimated hours are 0
When available, this chart helps identify trends where teams may be consistently over or under time budgets.
2 - Summary (Branch-Level Overview)
Displays aggregate data per branch by Date Window filter

This detailed table displays the job-level breakdown for all completed jobs in the reporting window.

| Min / Max Estimated Hours | Used internally for comparison to actuals. |
| Actual Hours | Logged working hours tracked by the system. |
| % Actual Hours | The actual hours vs the estimated hours. |
Export Options
Summary Export: Export the branch-level overview.
Job Table Export: Export the full job-by-job data for audit, payroll, or performance analysis.
