Claims Summary Report

The Claims Summary Report provides an overview of damage or service-related claims submitted by clients. It includes claim counts, amounts (estimated vs. actual), and key details for operational follow-up. This report helps teams identify trends, ensure timely resolution, and maintain quality control across jobs and teams.

Use This Report to Answer Questions Like:

How many claims were filed in the last month?
What is the total actual or estimated cost of damages?
Which crews or movers are most frequently linked to claims?
What types of claims are most common across branches or job types?

Report Inputs (Filters at the Top)

The top-level filters allow you to narrow down the claims shown in the report based on your desired scope:

Input	Description
Claim Create Date	Defines the date range during which claims were created (e.g., Last 30 days or custom date range).
Branch	Filters claims by branch location. Leave blank to include all branches.
Project Type	Filters claims by the associated project type (e.g., Local Move, Storage).
Project Tags	Filters by custom tags applied to the project.
Job Type	Filters claims based on the operational job type.
Crew Lead	Filters by the lead assigned to the crew on the job.
Job Tags	Filters claims by custom job-level tags.
Claim Type	Filters by the type of claim (e.g., Wall Damage, Lost Item).
Claim Status	Filters by the status of the claim (e.g., Open, Closed).
Movers	Filters by individual movers involved in the job related to the claim.

How Filters Affect the Data

Adjusting the Claim Date, Status, or Type filters changes both visualizations and the table contents.
Filters for Crew Lead, Movers, and Project Tags enable deeper root-cause analysis.
The Actual vs. Estimated Amount toggle gives financial teams visibility into claim forecasting vs. actual costs.

Report Sections

1 - Claims Amount Chart

This chart visualizes total monetary impact of claims over time.

Additional Filters For Claims Amount Chart:

Claim Status - Select the type of claim you wish to view to further narrow the display. Leave blank to include all statuses.
Selected Amount - Allows you toggle between estimated vs actual claims amount.
Date Window - Allows you to filter results based on the date window.

Bar Height	The total dollar amount of claims within the date window.

2 - Claims Count Chart

This chart tracks the number of claims created over time, grouped by status and displayed as counts.

3 - All Claims Table (Detailed View)

This table lists individual claims with all relevant details for reference or follow-up.

Column	Description
Client	Name of the client associated with the claim.
Project / Claim	Clickable links to the project and claim record within the Supermove Office App.
Claim Type	Type of issue reported (e.g., Wall Damage).
Claim Status	Current status of the claim (e.g., Open, Closed).
Create Date / Closed Date	When the claim was filed and (if applicable) resolved.
Est Amount / Actual Amount	The estimated and actual dollar value of the claim.
Job	Job ID related to the incident.
Salesperson	The salesperson assigned to this client.
Crew Lead	The crew lead assigned to the job at the time of the incident.
Movers	List of movers assigned to this job/project.
Valuation Coverages	The coverage added on this project/job.
Deductibles	The deductable amount associated with this job.
Claim Notes	Any notes related to this claim.
Branch	The branch that this claim is affiliated with.
Project Type	Classification of the project (e.g., Local Move, Interstate).
Job Type	Operational type of the job (e.g., Move).
Project Tags	A running list of project tags that are associated with the project in Supermove.
Job Tags	A running list of job tags that are associated with the job in Supermove.

Export Options

Claims Data Export: Download the complete claims table as a CSV file.
Charts Export: Export either chart to a visual report for internal review or presentations.
