Supermove now enables companies to create and manage custom payment methods, ensuring flexibility in capturing all the different ways payments are collected from customers. By categorizing and grouping payments, businesses can gain more accurate reporting and better understand the costs associated with payment processing.
Under Company Settings → Payments, companies can define the payment methods they want their staff to use when recording payments.
Payment Methods List: This section displays all possible payment methods the company can accept.
Office App & Crew App Lists: Below the main list, companies can manage which payment methods are available on the Office App and configure methods by project type for the Crew App.
You can add new payment methods directly within Supermove to accommodate payment types not natively supported. When creating a payment method, users can select from a list of default payment processors provided by Supermove.
If the required payment processor is not on the list, companies can select the "Custom" option and assign a custom name to the payment method.
Payment methods can be edited as needed. However, since these methods are tied to previous payments, the type of payment method cannot be changed after creation.
In the Crew App, payment methods are displayed on the payment screen with the custom names set by the company. This ensures staff and customers see consistent, clear payment options.
In the Office App, after a payment is recorded or processed, the payment name and method are displayed on the Project Page within the billing and invoice sections.
Supermove’s custom payment methods provide the flexibility to tailor payment options to your business needs while maintaining clear and organized records for better reporting and operational efficiency.
